The People Beside You
We’re a small team of grounded, thoughtful clinicians who care deeply about the people we work with.
We show up with warmth, steadiness, and real humanity — creating a space where you can feel supported, understood, and able to move toward what matters most to you.
Julia Newbury
MSW, LCSW, Founder & Owner
Julia has a way of making people exhale. With more than a decade of experience supporting teens, adults, and families, she offers a warm, steady presence for anyone carrying something heavy or trying to reconnect with themselves. Her style is grounding, honest, and deeply collaborative — a space where you don’t have to have the “right words,” just the willingness to show up as you are.
-
Julia’s approach is equal parts practical and deeply human. Her clients describe her as someone who listens with intention, reflects with honesty, and isn’t afraid to gently challenge you when you’re ready for it.
With experience spanning children, teens, young adults, and adults, she’s especially passionate about supporting people moving through life transitions — starting college, changing careers, navigating relational shifts, healing old wounds, or working through seasons of loss or growth.
Julia often blends her clinical expertise (including training in anxiety treatment, and intuitive eating) with a warm, relational style that helps clients feel both supported and empowered. She believes therapy works best when you can show up as you are — no pressure, no masks, no need to have everything figured out.
